Jennifer Russo is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Alcohol Drug Counselor in the state of New Jersey. She is also an Approved Clinical Supervisor through the Center of Credentialing & Education. While earning her Bachelor’s degree at Centenary College, Jennifer began her journey in psychology by performing groups with a primary focus on mental health. It was during graduate school at Centenary College that Jennifer became interested within the counseling field. Jennifer is passionate about her work and recognizes the importance in treating the person based on their individual needs. She specializes within addiction, codependency, relationships, mood disorders, and anxiety, while being trauma sensitive. Jennifer’s professional experience includes working with adults and adolescents incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and DBT skills with a mindfulness-based approach.
Jennifer values the importance of making her client feel safe in a therapeutic setting, that helps initiate the healing process, as well as encouraging involvement of supports.
