Group Therapy
Group Therapy
Group therapy is a form of therapy offered to small, carefully selected group(s) of individuals with similar goals. The group meets weekly with a trained therapist to gain professional insight and peer support. The Kraft Group offers Group Therapy to new and existing clients. We believe in providing a wide range of treatment options for clients to choose from. Some clients combine group therapy with individual therapy for additional structure and support throughout the week. For others, group therapy alone is exactly the level of care they need. At The Kraft Group, we work with you to develop the most effective, customized treatment.
Benefits of group therapy are:
Group therapy helps individuals realize they are not alone
Many people enter therapy with the misconception that their problems, thoughts, impulses and fears are unacceptable and only unique to them. While it is true that we are each unique, and may have unique circumstances, none of us are alone in our struggles
Group therapy reduces the feelings of isolation and alienation. It increases the feel of togetherness and normalizes suffering
Group therapy enables the giving and receiving of support and feedback.
Group therapy helps you find your voice and and emotions and how to best express them when interacting with other people
Group therapy provides a safety net. It provides a safe environment enabling an authentic connection amongst group members
It is a safe place where individuals can carry the support of group members in between sessions, if desired
At The Kraft Group, we keep our groups small to create a safe therapeutic environment. We do not believe in filling seats, we believe in providing quality care. If you have an interest in group therapy, please reach out to us for more information and upcoming group schedules.
