Couples & Family Therapy

OUR APPROACH

Couples & Family Therapy

The Kraft Group is highly experienced in providing Couples and Family Therapy. We take a relational approach to Couples and Family Therapy, allowing each person to have a voice during sessions. Many couples and families need a place to come together to find positive ways to communicate and work through issues. Therapy is oftentimes the only place it is possible to get couples or entire families together to discuss problems in a safe and controlled environment. Couples and Family therapy serves as a forum to allow each person to feel heard and have their needs respected. This allows for conflict resolution and new patterns of behavior to occur. For couples, intimacy and connection is also deepened throughout the therapeutic process. Family and Couples Therapy is a solution-focused, safe opportunity for each individual to express their concerns in a non-judgmental environment.

Couples Counseling Approach

Our highly skilled Couples Counselors use integrative approaches; including Imago and Gottman Method interventions. At The Kraft Group, we tailor treatment to help couples navigate through their issues such as; chronic affairs, communication skills, intimacy issues, adjusting to parenthood, coping with infidelity, codependency in relationships, and other relational issues. Our couples therapists work with couples to discuss points of conflict to ultimately build connection through willingness to be vulnerable. Through helping partners learn to discuss their problems without falling into a negative cycle, improve communication and empathetic listening, and address unresolved resentments, our therapists are trained to empower couples to rebuild trust, problem-solve, and heal together—not apart.
