Beth Hendler,
Health Coach and Counseling Intern
Life experiences, alongside formal education and training, significantly shape Beth’s counseling journey. Training under the rigorous standards of the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) and the New Jersey Professional Counselor Examiners Committee, Beth integrates her academic knowledge with her personal experiences of challenges, relationships, and growth, which provides her with a deeper understanding of the wide range of human emotions, such as feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, hopeful, and resilient. Beth’s clients find value in her capacity for authentic and compassionate connection, a skill refined through experience.
Beth views therapy as more than just conversation; she sees it as a sanctuary where individuals can feel secure enough to be fully understood and acknowledged. Through her life, Beth has come to understand the significance of empathy, patience, creativity, authenticity, and emotional connection, and these qualities now shape her approach to working with clients.
Working together with those who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, overall health and wellness, relationship problems, significant life shifts, and self-esteem concerns, Beth assists them in uncovering their capabilities and developing richer, more well-adjusted lives.
Beth sees therapy as a transformative experience that encompasses growth, healing, and self-exploration. Even though each story is unique, she feels that all life events, whether difficult or wonderful, contribute to our growth, making us more resilient and empathetic individuals.
